_______________________________________
Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club was started in 1953. It was named after Lake Wallula, commemorating the newly-built McNary Dam.
Over the years, members from the closing Three Rivers and Horse Heaven Hills Gem and Mineral Societies, joined Lakeside. We are now one of the largest rock clubs in the northwest, and are proud of our dynamic Junior Club members.
Lakeside has a lot to offer its members.
New members are always welcome
Meetings:
The first Wednesday of every month we enjoy the company of fellow rock enthusiasts, have an "Educational Program," a "Bragging Table," and refreshments. Once a year we have "Rock Bingo."
Fieldtrips:
Several times a year.
Workshops:
Silversmithing, Intarsia, Wirewrapping, Cabbing, Viking Weaving, and Glass-works.
Events:
April Show, The Fair, and the September Picnic & Auction.
Come join us for a Rock-Hunting Adventure!
